The sun here is warm,
gentle and pure.
The river is winding,
yet safe is sure.

Rocks made of sponge.
Fish that smile.
Playing about our feet
as we drift another mile.

Drinking from oysters.
Toasting our love.
Serenaded by hummingbirds,
crickets and a dove.

Walking slowly along
paths of goose-down.
Passing flowers that giggle
at the grass all around.

Together we play,
chasing lions of marble.
Riding horses of velvet
up the Mountains of Marvel.

Into the caves
of laughter and games.
Our reflections stand to greet us,
mispronouncing our names.

Pit with a penguin
who corners us every time.
Eating ice-cubes of chocolate.
Mints made of thyme.

Overlooking the beauty
of a patchwork of seas.
We make love in the branches
of the tall satin trees.

Cuddling together
with a dear in your arms.
We awake to the singing
of our bedroom alarm.
