Our Invitation

We had our wedding at the Hacienda Hotel in El Segundo, California. The wedding was at 5:00 p.m. in the patio of the hotel in front of a beautiful fountain. The reception was at 6:00 p.n.  in the ballroom. The dress was formal.

Our Wedding Program

Carol's two daughters, Cherish and Sabrina were are our Maids of Honor. Bey's two brothers, Mark and Tod were our Best Men. The girls wore Watters and Watters dresses, Cherish in yellow and Sabrina in lavender.  The guys wore black Tux's with yellow and lavender handkerchiefs.  Each wore a rose buttoner in the color of the girl they were escorting.

Carol's son is walked her down the aisle. He was so handsome in a gray Tux with a rose colored rose buttoner.

The processional the men and girls walked into the ceremony to It's A Wonderful World.  The Bride came in with the traditional Wedding March.  The unity candle ceremony was enhanced with the pianist and soloist singing When You Wish Upon A Star.  There was not a dry eye in the house.

My dress

My dress was an Ivory Llmour design. It had beading on the top and lace and long sleeved. The bottom is all satin with a chapel length train. It was so beautiful. The pictures do not show the richness of the material.

My Wedding Dress

The reception was wonderful.  The tables cards to mark each table were the same pattern as the invitations, scrolls and name cards.  Each table was identified by a name instead of numbers.  Each one was something significant to and important event in our time together.

Our Thank You Scrolls

We invited about 100 guests. The menu consisted of:  Honor de oderve of Cheese and Crackers and a fruit platter.  The dinner menu consisted of:  Green salad, potatoes salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetable melody, Teriyaki chicken, Baron of beef carved to order, hot rolls and butter.  Beverages consisted of a Champaign toast, punch, soda, hot or cold tea, coffee.  A cash bar was available for those that wanted a cocktail.  A wedding cake was served for desert.

Our first dance was to I Can't Help Falling In Love With You by Elvis Presley.  It was the first time that we EVER danced together in public so it really was THE FIRST DANCE together of our lives.
